FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I prepare for my first appointment? + −
Before your initial consultation, you'll receive a detailed intake form to complete. Please gather any recent blood work, specialist reports, or medical records you have available. Come with a list of current medications and supplements. The more information you can share, the more we can accomplish in our first session together.
Do you accept insurance? + −
Naturopathic services may be covered under extended health benefits through many insurers. Coverage varies by plan. I am a licensed member of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO), which is typically required by insurance providers for reimbursement. I recommend checking your policy or contacting your insurer directly to confirm your naturopathic coverage.
Do you offer virtual appointments? + −
Yes. I offer both in-person appointments at The Healing Theory in Toronto and virtual appointments via secure video for patients across Ontario. Please note that certain treatments — such as acupuncture and facial acupuncture — are only available in person.
What is your cancellation policy? + −
We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee. We understand life happens — please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change.
How many appointments will I need? + −
This varies widely depending on your health history and goals. Most new patients begin with an initial consultation followed by 2–3 follow-up appointments over 3–6 months. Chronic or complex conditions may benefit from more frequent initial visits. Once you're feeling well, many patients transition to less frequent maintenance visits. We'll always discuss a realistic timeline at your first appointment.
